Hi, I'm Davis Cho

I am the founder of Zen Zone Fitness. I am a certified Holistic Nutritionist, Registered Yoga Teacher, and certified Holistic Life Coach. For most of my life I have lived an active lifestyle and began eating organic, healthy foods over 20 years ago. But it’s when I started practicing yoga 15 years ago that my health really started to improve. You can read more about this and the benefits of yoga in my first blog post.

I strongly believe that in order to live a long, healthy life, you must take care of your eating habits, your physical body, your mind, and your spirit. I started incorporating all of this in my health journey over 10 years ago and have managed to stay in the best health of my life since then. That’s why I decided to use my skills to help people find their unique path to optimize their health. My approach is to always treat my clients with respect, compassion, empathy, and without judgement.

Before the current pandemic hit, I decided to take my mother out of her retirement home as I felt it was too risky for her to stay there. With some help from my sister, I took care of her and my mother has managed to shed about 20 percent of her weight. She has regained her energy and can walk up to 4 km at a time without resting. When my mother lived in the retirement home, she was only able to walk no more than a 100 meters before she would begin wheezing. My mother is approaching 85 years old so it only goes to show that it’s never too late to regain your health!

I practice yoga and meditation daily, enjoy cooking nutritious meals, and go for daily nature walks. Tennis, trail running, snowboarding, paddle boarding, and traveling are some of the activities I enjoy doing. I am passionate about the environment, animal welfare, dark chocolate, live music, and the wonders of the universe.
